Health Services

nurses

The Oregon School District Health Services Team provides care to students while they are at school. School Nurses maintain a comprehensive school health program and oversee Health Assistants, who are located in school health offices. Health Assistants have some medical training and Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.

If your student is not feeling well, please keep them home and contact the OSD attendance line at 608-835-4000 (option #1).

Students who have a fever of 100 degrees or higher, who vomit or have diarrhea, may not attend school, and must stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication. This applies to any illness, as well as to COVID-19.

Staying home when not feeling well is one of the best ways to keep our school community healthy and in school.
