Child Development Screening
The Oregon School District offers Child Development Screening for children who are at least 3 years old and who are Oregon School District residents. This screening is a optional and is provided free of charge. We recommend that all children who are 3 complete a screener.
During this in-person screener your child will work with our staff in the areas of gross motor (big muscle movements like throwing and balancing), fine motor (smaller movements done with the hands and fingers), language and speech sound production, and pre-mathematics and pre-literacy skills. After your child completes the tasks, we will talk through everything we observed together with you.
The next screening time will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
