Thank you for your interest in volunteering in the Oregon School District! The Oregon School District is proud to partner with our families and community members in the important journey of educating our students.
Volunteer Opportunity Examples
There are many ways to volunteer in our schools. Below are just a few examples of volunteer activities.
- Assist in classroom
- Chaperone field trips
- Mentor/tutor students
- Assist in libraries
- Become a mentor through the Be A Champion Mentor Program
- Volunteer with Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO)
All Volunteers Must Complete a Background Check
Please allow at least 5 business days for background checks to be processed. You must use a device with a camera to complete this process, as it requires you to take your photo.
Volunteer background checks are valid for one year after date of approval; background checks will be automatically rerun for anyone who has volunteered in the last year.
